Will your designs work on my machine?
While we are unable to give advice on specific machines and software, your machine should accept one of the formats that we offer. You will need the appropriate hardware/software to use these designs. Examples include your embroidery software, USB flash drive, or a reader/writer box such as Magic or Amazing box, etc. Our designs are offered via instant download and CD only. We do not offer 3x5 floppy discs. You must know your machine's hoop capabilities as well. Any of our designs that are for "jumbo" hoops only, *specifically say jumbo* in the product title.
For assistance in transferring designs to your machine, and other operating questions for your machine or software, please refer to your manual or embroidery machine or software dealer. Please note that we are UNABLE to support every version of every software on the market, and cannot advise on software. Please contact support for your specific software issue. Our designs have been tested and we ask you to please send your design directly to your machine prior to contacting us for support to ensure that the design itself shows up in your machine. If it does, but not your software, then we can know that it is a software issue and this will expedite the support process. Thank you very much.
Which machine formats are available?
Our design sets are offered in eleven major machine formats: art v3, dst, exp, hus, jef, pcs, pes, sew, vip, vp3 and xxx . Please note that .sew and .pcs formats are not available for 5x7 designs. You will now receive all ELEVEN formats in one zip file. Once unzipped, the formats are neatly separated and labeled in separate subfolders for your convenience.
What brand of thread do you recommend?
We recommend Robison Anton Super Brite Polyester thread for beauty and durability. Floriani polyester and Madeira are also quality threads. Of course, there are many great threads available on the market.
That said, please do NOT feel obligated to use exactly the threads we digitize. Often times, we choose colors from our palette according to our tastes for digitizing purposes. You can use whatever thread you have on hand, or change the colors according to your own creativity. Please do not spend hours search for exactly the same colors. We believe that will take the fun and joy out of the craft. There is no "right" way to choose your colors. Our charts are simply a *guide* :)
Where do you get that varigated Sock Monkey thread?
We use Floriani FuFu #11 for that textured effect. You can get it at SewingSupplyWarehouse.com
I don't know what format I need… do you?

I have two embroidery machines. Can I purchase my designs in two formats?
Our system now includes all major formats in your download file. If you made a prior purchase on our old website, please log into your account and re-download where you will find all available formats.
What software do you use to create your designs?
We use a variety of quality digitizing software packages to create designs, depending upon the desired effect. All designs are 100% manually digitized and tested as many times as necessary to provide you with the highest quality possible.
I received my designs via download or in my email. The colors are all funky!
Regarding the colors being off or "weird", this is not uncommon at all due to the fact that each format has its own color palette... and they can be quite different from one format to another. Often times, upon conversion, the original colors of the designs will change and vary from format to format. That is the reason why color charts are provided with each design set. If you follow the color chart provided, the design will stitch out in the appropriate colors.
How do I know which designs are Digistitches designs and which are Designs by JuJu?
I would like to be notified automatically of new design sets and sales. How can I do that?

I purchased these in 4x4 and need them enlarged/reduced etc. Can you do that?
Unfortunately, this falls within the realm of custom work and we are unable to do that at this time. The designs are only available in the sizes that they were released in. There are many good editing programs on the market… and your specific software may allow you to enlarge/reduce. We recommend that you do NOT change the design size more than 20% to maintain the integrity. Please be advised that if you do edit or resize your designs, you do so at your own risk. Designs by JuJu is not responsible.
Do you have any free designs? How do I access them?
YES! Some of our free embroidery designs can be found at Embroidery Billboard. Free machine embroidery design download links will be emailed on a regular basis to members who have subscribed to our website newsletter. Visit our free machine embroidery designs page. We also offer free designs, which are exclusive to our Facebook fans.
Do you sell single designs?
Single designs are sold for $4.00 each. Single designs are available for purchase on each design set page.
What is applique? How is it done? Is it hard?
Applique is FUN and EASY. All of our machine applique designs are 100% manually punched. You can find a step by step photo tutorial HERE
My hard drive crashed. I lost all of my designs. Can you resend them please?
We understand how frustrating computers can be. You can now look up and download your previous orders as far back as 2005. To do so, simply log in to your account by clicking the "my account" link in the upper right hand corner. We are unable to look up and replace any design orders made prior to 2005. We can only replace orders placed on the designsbyjuju.com website. We are sorry but we are unable to look up and replace any orders placed through other venues such as Oregon Patchworks, Ebay, SWAK etc.
I missed your sale! Can I still get the sale price?
We are sorry you missed the last sale, but to be fair to all of our customers, we are unable to extend our sales beyond the expiration date and time advertised. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook and our newsletter for our next special sale offering!
I just placed an order and now you are having a better sale. Can you back date the sale for me?
We are unable to back date a sale to reflect current pricing. Our sales and special offerings are valid ONLY during the dates specified on our website and advertisements. We are unable to make any exceptions to this policy.
I want to order a few more design sets. Can you combine this order with my last order so I can get the cheaper price?
No, we are sorry. All sales/purchases are on a PER ORDER basis and we are unable to combine orders to achieve tiered discounts.

In order for us to continue to keep our prices this low, we MUST adhere to our policies as we do not have the staff to handle numerous special requests. What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal and all major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express) All orders are processed securely on our website using Authorize.net. Designs by JuJu, LLC uses secure SSL encryption to process orders.
We are sorry, but we do NOT accept check/money orders or mail in payments any longer. All orders are placed and processed online.
Do you offer refunds or exchanges?
Due to the electronic nature of our products and the ability for reproduction, refunds are not offered. If you receive a damaged CD, we will gladly exchange it for a new one. Designs may not be exchanged. Please be certain of your choices prior to making your purchase. Thank you for your understanding of and cooperation with this policy.
I purchased a duplicate of the same design set. Can I get a refund or exchange it?
If you purchased a design set twice, we are happy to exchange the duplicate item as long as you notifiy us within 90 days of the original purchase. Please provide order numbers in your email. We are unable to exchange items after 90 days.
How will I receive my designs?
- A. Your designs are delivered via instant download. You will receive an email confirmation containing your download links, and your account will forever hold your order history. Download links never expire. If you have any difficulties, do not hesitate to contact us.
- B. Effective 3/1/19 we offer an option to have your order custom burned to a DVD OR A CUSTOM USB DRIVE
The cost to have your order burned to disc and shipped via USPS Firs Class Mail is $15.00 and covers shipping costs, materials, and the labor involved in creating your custom disc for your order. Discs are shipped within 15 business days.
The cost to have your order burned to a USB and shipped via USPS Firs Class Mail is $20.00 and covers shipping costs, materials, and the labor involved in creating your custom USB for your order. USBs are shipped within 15 business days

When will I receive my designs?
Your designs are delivered via instant download upon completion of your checkout. If there is a problem and you do not receive your designs or have trouble downloading, we will email your designs to you. Please send an email to: email@example.com. Your designs will be emailed in 24-36 hours via zip files.
Oftentimes, you will receive them much sooner. We are closed on Sundays.
I'm having trouble downloading my designs. What should I do? HELP!
We will make sure you receive your designs. If you are unfamiliar with zip files, please visit HERE to find out how to download and unzip our designs. If you are still unable to download, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When will my email be answered?

Do you offer custom digitizing?
We apologize but, due to time constraints, custom digitizing is not offered.
Can you tell me what designs I have already purchased?
It is best to keep your designs purchased from various vendors organized in folders so you can find what you are looking for and know from whom you purchased them. You can now look up your previous orders and re-download them by logging into your account located at the upper right hand corner or by clicking HERE.
Can I teach a class using your designs?
We do allow the use of our designs for classes, but *not in conjunction with our special sales and coupons*. However, we do offer a class group rate at 75% discount with at least 4 purchased. The cost per person per class is $5 a set. We would need the date of the class and a list of each person and email address for those attending the class. The set would be licensed only to the purchasers (those people attending the class). If you had a new class at a different date, or needed to purchase another set, there would be new charges for those participants. If you are interested, please send us the information PRIOR TO THE DATE OF THE CLASS to email@example.com and we will send an invoice and manually do the order for you
Can I add more designs to my last order so I can get the lower price?
Unfortunately, all purchases are on a per order basis and may not be combined with previous or future purchases to obtain tiered discounts. Discounts are applied automatically at the time of purchase. In order for us to continue to keep our prices low and provide amazing sales and special offers, we must strictly adhere to this policy.
Will your website let me know if I’ve already purchased a design?
Yes! We are happy to offer this service. Please be sure you are *logged in* to your account when shopping. If you try to put an item into your shopping cart, you will get a pop up similar to this:
