  Pumpkin Projects It's officially Fall. Or as we like to call it... Pumpkin Season! This post is dedicated to all of our wonderful customers and our fans who love pumpkins as much as we do. Throughout this post, we share pumpkin projects sent in by you, our fans. So let's get started!

Here at Designs By JuJu we are celebrating with apple cider, pumpkin spice, and some FUN new design sets (many of these designs even have an applique component!) We have already been stitching some great projects with the new Fall Harvest Sayings...

Fall is exciting and filled with traditions. We are continuing our tradition and releasing a NEW fall-themed set, a design! This set contains 12 different scarecrows to choose from!

Many applique designs have templates provided in the download. If not, there is an easy way to create a template using software. Templates are really useful if you stitch applique designs. One reason is that they allow you to create a guide for cutting out the applique piece. Pre-cutting your applique pieces saves a lot of time you would otherwise spend removing the hoop, trimming excess applique fabric, and re-applying the hoop. All you need to do is add some temporary spray adhesive or glue stick to the back, finger-press it in place, and continue stitching.

Take you applique to the next level – make it freestanding. Sounds difficult? It’s really easy and super adorable!
