As I sit here with a cozy cup of tea, reflecting on 2024, my heart is overflowing with gratitude, pride, and excitement. This year has been a whirlwind of creativity, milestones, and heartfelt connections with all of you. Together, we’ve stitched not just designs, but memories, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share the highlights of our journey. Let’s also take a sneak peek at the exciting adventures ahead in 2025. Family First:
This March, my family grew a little brighter with the arrival of my beautiful granddaughter, Daisy Joy. With her soft giggles and the sweetest tuft of hair, Daisy has been a joyful reminder of what’s truly precious. She’s my third grandchild and she’s inspired me to see the world—and our craft—with fresh eyes.

Making Waves:
I took a big leap this year with my very first public teaching appearance aboard Sew and Sail 14! Meeting over 80 passionate embroiderers face-to-face was electrifying and reminded me of the magic we create when we come together.

Quilting Dreams Realized:
After years of planning, we unveiled our new Quilting Backdrops line—and wow, did you all show up! Seeing how you’ve brought these designs to life has been nothing short of inspiring.

Fan Favorites:
From In-the-Hoop Mandala Pillows to the whimsical “Build a Snowman” project, 2024 was bursting with creativity. These designs are just the beginning of what’s possible when imagination meets your talented hands.

Strengthening Bonds:
In September, members of the Designs by JuJu team gathered in Hilton Head Island for a retreat filled with laughter, brainstorming, and a shared passion for what we do. Our bond has never been stronger and we can’t wait to channel that energy into serving you even better.

Giving Back:
Your love for our freebies—like the Side Seam Bow Appliqué and trendy Mug Rug—always fill our hearts. Giving back to this amazing community of creators is truly one of our favorite things.

Bold New Designs:
We’re working on fresh techniques and styles to keep your creativity soaring. Watch for a fun Easter project next month and a dazzling new tree skirt coming this summer. I promise it’s worth the wait!

Big Hoops, Bigger Dreams:
With the launch of larger embroidery machines, we’re ready to bring you jaw-dropping designs made for extra-large hoops. Get ready to think big!

Teaching Adventures:
This year, I’m thrilled to be teaching not one, but TWO, Sew and Sail cruises in May and June! Plus, I’ll host two, one-day events in March at Amy Baughman's Sew and Quilt in Harmony, PA. Nothing fills my heart like meeting you in person and learning together.

Celebrating 21 Years:
March marks 21 incredible years of Designs by JuJu. What started with me digitizing designs, one-handed while cradling baby Emily, has blossomed into a family legacy—and now Emily works alongside me full-time!

Inspiring and Empowering:
Expect more live tutorials, fresh product launches, and a wave of creative inspiration on Facebook and YouTube in 2025. This year will be all about growing your skills and celebrating every project you make.
