This boxy, top zippered bag for 6x10 hoops is only partially completed in the hoop. The fabric panels are pieced together in the hoop and then get attached to the zipper during a third hooping. The seams of the fabric strips are decorated with embroidery stitches that look hand stitched. The inside is fully lined; no seams are visible. This bag requires three simple hoopings. The boxing of the bag, the seams, as well as the side tabs are stitched on the sewing machine. Some sewing experience is highly recommended. Not advisable for beginners in machine embroidery.
The bag is roomy and would be perfect for carrying some of your supplies to sewing class. Of course, there are many other uses for this bag as well.
An ideal project for jelly roll fabric strips.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank. That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
