In The Hoop Ice Cream Cozy Project

Details:

An Ice Cream Cozy is the perfect way to keep your hands warm as you enjoy a pint of ice cream and claim it as your own — no sharing required! This set includes two different stitch styles: a lovely hearts and feathers quilting pattern, and a simple all-over motif pattern.

Minimum 5x7 hoop required. Approximate finished size: 3.5" x 3.5" x 5", perfect for holding a pint of ice cream.

The 5x7 file requires 8 hoopings. Eight single units are stitched completely in the hoop: four for the inside of the cozy, four for the outside. Those units are then joined together with your sewing machine; a bit of hand sewing is required to close an opening. Sewing directions are included for adding an optional handle to the cozy.

For machines with a true 6x10 stitch field, bonus files are included so two units can be stitched as one — only 4 hoopings required: two for the inside, two for the outside. (Please note this file does not fit in a 150x240 hoop.)

For machines with a 10x10 stitch field, bonus files are included so the full shape can be stitched in one hooping — only 2 hoopings required: one for the inside, one for the outside.

In The Hoop Nordic Alphabet Ornaments Project

Details:

Skip the tinsel and decorate your Christmas tree with our new Nordic Alphabet Ornaments! Each letter features a mix of stars, snowflakes, holly, flowers, branches, and bells. Stitch an initial for each member of your family, use as gift tags on wrapped packages, or make a banner spelling the word of your choice. There are so many fun opportunities with this versatile set!

Designed to be made with felt, the embroidered elements are stitched first, then a layer or two of batting is added under the hoop to add a bit of poofiness to the ornament before the backing is tacked down. Trim with pinking shears for a zigzag finish. Use ribbon or cording for the hanger; embellish with bows or beads. Use vinyl or burlap instead of felt for different looks — the options for customization are endless!

Looking for the perfect Christmas gift for a little one? Our ITH Gingerbread Baby Blanket Lovie is the perfect soft toy for an infant, toddler, or child to snuggle up with! Made in the hoop with some additional sewing on your sewing machine, this stuffed toy will be a holiday favorite for years!

Available in two sizes: 4x4 and 5x7. Approximate finished sizes: 4x4 – 12" x 12" refers to the blanket size, with added height from the finished size of the gingerbread head; 5x7 – 14" x 14" refers to the blanket size, with added height from the finished size of the gingerbread head.

Approximate finished sizes:6x10 - 15" x 19", 8x12 - 19" x 23.5"
