This mini quilt is mostly done as an in the hoop project. The center is quilted and the borders are applied during the embroidery. Only the faux binding needs to be stitched down with the sewing machine or hand stitched along the top and bottom edges only. The faux binding is actually the backing fabric brought forward to the front. The optional trim border is also part of your embroidery. Thorough instructions with many photos are part of your download.
Formats included: DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX. Please note ART, PCS and SEW are not available.

Fusible fleece — heavier weight (like Pellon 971 F)
Small quilt clips are optional but very helpful
Tear away or Polymesh (medium weight, woven cut-away) stabilizer
Mini Clover or Clover Wedge iron
Spray sizing or Spray starch
Painter's tape

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank. That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
