This potholder will brighten up any kitchen for the holidays.
Entirely constructed on the embroidery machine in two hoopings, the background is quilted in a star pattern. The front of the potholder has a pocket that is embroidered on the machine. The top loop can be stitched on the sewing machine or a ribbon loop could be used instead. Thorough and detailed instructions as well as many photos are part of your download. A great hostess gift for the holidays. Also included in your zip is a plain pocket potholder, without the center design so you can showcase a special fabric or insert a design of your own choosing.
There are a total of 2 stitch files in your download.
Formats included: DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX. Please note ART, PCS and SEW are not available.

- 3 contrasting/coordinating cotton fabrics
- -For the center of the pocket
- -For the side borders and bottom border as well as the quilted back
- -For the pocket lining/faux binding
- Fusible interfacing (light or medium weight)
- .5" wide Steam a Seam 2 or similar bonding product
- Embroidery adhesive spray
- Stabilizer: Polymesh (woven, light weight cut away)
- OR: light weight cotton flannel
- Mini iron
- Small, sharp, curved tip scissors

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank. That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
