This fun mug rug will make a great gift for the book lover in your life. It can be used as a mug rug or be placed on a small easel as a decorative accent. The center of the mug rug is stipple quilted and the sides and contrast strips are attached while in the hoop.
This mug rug is completely stitched in the hoop; no additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. There are two stitch files in your download. One with the full design as shown, another one with the stipple quilted background, but no other design in the center.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank. That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
