Do you want to show appreciation to a teacher? Here is one way to do it. This mini placemat is about 1/2 the size of a regular placemat and quite a bit larger than our 5x7 mug rugs. It can be rolled up and placed into a lunch box. The mats accommodate a dessert plate and mug easily.
There are 2 stitch files in your download: One with the stipple quilting and wording; another one with the stippling but no wording. The latter version would be great for showcasing favorite fabrics — for any occasion and holiday.
The mini placemats are completely stitched as an in the hoop project. There is no other sewing machine or hand stitching required. The pieced frame and ricrac are all done while the embroidery is in the hoop.
The designs come with detailed instructions (including photos) in pdf format.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank.
