This applique train design is from our Gingerbread Train Placemat set. There are two designs included with your purchase: the gingerbread train with the empty car. You can place any wording of your choice over this area from: Merry Christmas; to Santa please stop here, to a child's name or inspirational words like Peace, Hope, etc.
Great designs for children's wear, pillows or wallhangings.
Formats included: DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, XXX. Please note ART, PCS and SEW are not available.

This gingerbread placemat for 6x10 hoops was designed with children in mind, but of course many adults love gingerbread items as well. The set consists of 2 placemats and 1 cookie alphabet (capital letters only) as well as two separate applique designs (engine by itself; engine with car). This is a partial in the hoop project: There are 5 parts to the placemat: the center, two sides, and top and bottom panels. These panels are constructed and quilted in the hoop and then stitched together on the sewing machine. Each panel has guidelines to make alignments easy. The placemat gets finished off with a backing and easy binding. Very thorough instructions with lots of photos are part of your download. Basic machine sewing skills required. For 6x10 or larger hoops only. In total there are 33 stitch files (this includes the Cookie alphabet files.) Placemat finished size: 12x16

These are digital machine embroidery design NOT a finished product. You must own an embroidery machine. You musy know how to unzip your files and transfer files to your machine.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank. That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
