This Watermelon-themed mug rug stitches up quickly. The mug rug has an applique element and the background of the mug rug is quilted. The ricrac borders are part of the embroidery. This mug rug is completely finished in the hoop; no additional sewing machine or hand stitching required.
There are a total of 2 stitch files in your download: 1 file with the complete design, 2 without the center design but still with the ricrac borders and quilting stitches.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank. That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
