But not only is this design fashionable, it also serves as a way to stop that jingling noise the dog tag makes.
Now, I don't mind the dog tag jingling noise during the normal waking hours of the day.
It's the dog tag jingling that happens at 4:00 am when Miss Ellie decides she is ready to start her day and I say I have another 3 hours to sleep--now that really bothers me!

The Dog Tag Holders are super easy to make and come with complete instructions and several "how-to" photos.
The total stitch time is about 12 minutes so it is easy to make one in about 20-25 minutes, maybe even less-- depending on if you are more organized than I am and actually know where all your cute dog themed fabric is!
The finished Dog Tag Cover is approxinmately 1.75 inches by 2.25 inches. It fits the larger sized "bone shaped" dog tags that are commonly used by the county for the dog license (they measure 1.5 inches by 1 inch). I also have the large sized "3-year rabies" tag in the holder as well as a tag with Miss Ellie's name on it. So that's a total of 3 tags that all fit nicely in the Dog Tag Holder.

For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used.
