Our newest must have set of the season! Your children will adore this precious Advent Calendar for years to come! This is our first project based design set and it includes:
- "in the hoop" ornament designs and star with button holes (color charts included)
- pocket designs that are stitched by embroidery machine and then attached to the backing material by sewing machine
- PDF e-pattern for Christmas tree to be printed, taped together and used to cut out the felt tree
- complete, full color step-by-step photo tutorial for making and constructing your Advent calendar.
This project requires an embroidery machine, sewing machine and hand sewing buttons. I have always wanted to design an Advent Calendar just like this for my little children, and I'm so pleased to be able to offer it to you!
Designs are included for 2 different size calendars. All embroidery design files fit in a 4x4 hoop. Please click the pink "Size and Stitch Counts" button for details.
The finished size of the large calendar using our layout is approximately 35"x50"
The finished size of the small calendar using our layout is approximately 24"x35"
Each day your child will take an ornament out of the pocket and "button" it onto the Christmas tree. On Christmas day, your tree will be decorated! Have fun!!

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank.That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
