2 sizes included: 4x6 and 5x7
2 new adorable embroidered greeting card designs!
These designs require a minimum of 5x7 hoop. They are not available for the 4x4 hoop.
We highly recommend a high quality fibrous paper such as watercolor paper for *best* results. This is readily available on Amazon, as well as stationery supply stores, Hobby Lobby, Michaels or anywhere art supplies are sold.
Also recommended:
Medium weight fusible cutaway stabilizer. We’ve found watercolor paper and a medium weight cutaway fusible stabilizer to be a great “recipe” for embroidered greeting cards.
We prefer a 70/10 needle for stitching directly onto watercolor paper, but a 75/11 will also suffice.
Each design comes in 2 sizes:
4x6 will fit on a 4x6 card with approximately 1/4-1/2 inch margin all the way around.
5x7 will fit on a 5x7 card with approximately 1/4-1/2 inch margin all the way around. I like to stitch my design onto Watercolor Paper, and then trim it out and mount it onto a contrasting colored cardstock.
When stitching, for BEST RESULTS, slow down your machine to the SLOWEST SPEED.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank. That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
Designs by JuJu recommends the user friendly Embrilliance embroidery editing software to type out fonts in BX format, combine/merge designs, personalize and customize projects and more! Check out their programs Essentials, Enthusiast, StitchArtist , and Thumbnailer to learn more about their other useful, fun and easy features!
