When design files are converted to multiple machine formats, the thread colors auto-selected by format may open with weird colors on your machine or in embroidery software. A detailed colorchart is included in your download to assist you with thread color selection. You do not have to use the exact same brand/thread numbers, but selecting similar shades/tints of the pictured colors is important for the desired effect.
For best results, we recommend hooping your fabric with cutaway stabilizer. Since the fill has a lighter density, some fabrics may show through the sheer stitching. Light colored solid fabrics are recommended.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank.That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
