In The Hoop Mix-and-Match Quilt Blocks Project 2

Attention quilt lovers! These simple Mix-and-Match designs for basic quilt blocks are just what you need to create a custom project. The fabrics are added using a stitch-and-flip method so the finished project looks just like you've pieced them together on a sewing machine, but with ultimate precision! SET 2 includes the following four blocks: Half Square Triangles, Rail Fence, Split Triangle and Square in a Square.

Blocks are available in eight sizes: 4x4, 5x5, 6x6, 7x7, 7.75x7.75, 8x8, 9x9 and 10x10

NOTE: These are sized to match Quilting Backdrops! The design files are named according to the FINISHED SIZE of the block, not necessarily the hoop in which it fits.
*The 4x4 blocks require a 5x7 hoop
*The 5x5 blocks will fit in a 5x7 hoop
*The 6x6 blocks will fit in a true 6x10 hoop (it will NOT fit in the smaller 150x240 hoop)
*The 7x7 blocks will fit in a 7x12 hoop
*The 7.75x7.75 blocks will fit in an 8x8 hoop
*The 8x8 blocks require a 9x14 hoop
*The 9x9 blocks will fit in a 9x14 hoop
*The 10x10 blocks will fit in a 10x16 hoop

The individual blocks are stitched completely in the hoop, then joined together with your sewing machine to create whatever finished product you desire, like:

• Pillows or pillow covers;
• Quilts or lap quilts;
• Wall hangings;
• Table runners or toppers;
• Mini quilts;
• Mug rugs or placemats.

Additional Mix-and-Match Blocks are available in Set 1, sold separately.

Tip! Since these blocks are sized to match Quilting Backdrops, that means you can further customize your project by adding the quilting motif of your choice on top of the pieced block, then use coordinating sashings and/or border sizes to finish your product. For example:

• The placemat is made from six 6x6 Rail Fence blocks with our Hibiscus Quilting Backdrops Design, sold separately
• The pink and white pillow is made from one Square in a Square block surrounded by four Rail Fence blocks and Four Half Square Triangle blocks with our Strawberries Quilting Backdrops Design, sold separately
• The yellow and tan star wall hanging is made from four 8x8 Split Triangle Blocks with five 8x8 blocks from our Daisies Quilting Backdrops Design, sold separately
• The fall pillow uses four 4x4 Flying Geese blocks and four 4x4 Half Square Triangle blocks surrounding one 4x4 Snowball block from Mix-and-Match Set 1, with our Leaves Acorns And Swirls Quilting Backdrops Design for the quilting and sashes, plus an applique acorn from our Scalloped Fall Table Topper, sold separately.
