Fishing Alphabet Embellishment Kit includes twelve design files in nine sizes, scaled to coordinate with our Daisy Doodle Bean Stitch Applique Alphabet, sold separately. For example, the embellishments in the 3" folder are perfectly sized for use with the 3" alphabet. Please click the "Size and Stitch Counts" button for exact dimensions of each design.
The Fishing Kit includes seven appliques (boat, bobber, fish, fish bucket, hat, lure, tackle box) and five embroidery-only accents (mini bobber mini grass, mini hook, mini net, mini pole)
Please note: the boat in this set is designed to go under a name instead of replacing a lowercase letter. None of the sizes of the boat fit in a 4x4 hoop.
For the applique designs in this set, each fabric has only two colorstops: a single running stitch placement step, and bean stitch step that serves as both the tackdown and finishing stitch. We recommend using a fusible product on the applique fabrics and neatly trimming 1/8" outside the bean stitch for a polished look. We love the results when using black embroidery thread for all the bean stitch outlines!
Use embroidery editing software to create custom trios by combining your favorite three designs from the set. Mix and match with our Daisy Doodle Alphabet to make custom word art or personalized name projects. The possibilities are endless!
"GONE fishin" and "Grady" samples show several designs from this set combined with Daisy Doodle Alphabet, not included.
Additional Alphabet Embellishment Kits are available, sold separately.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank.That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
