Looking for a stylish way to carry a Kindle or Nook e-reader?
The E-Reader and cord tuck neatly inside the case. And the case is completely lined and padded.
You can make it with or without the carrying strap.
The e-reader case features stipple quilting, stitched while it is in the hoop.
The applique patch and monogram are embedded onto the designs for you.
And just when you were thinking "This is such a great gift idea for my e-reading girlfriends...."
We've made a case suitable for those "guy friends" too!
It might be fun to make the case out of camo fabric, suiting fabric or whatever fabric your guy friend would like.
The e-reader case for him features no quitling stitches and an applique patch with a big, bold monogram embedded onto the design for you.

As always, PDF instructions with lots of how to photos (including how to apply the snaps) is included.
The case is made completley in the hoop, with no additional sewing to do. However, the optional carrying strap requires does few minutes of stitching time on a sewing machine.
The e-reader case is made in two hoopings; the first hooping takes only a few minutes of stitching time. You will need a 6x10 hoop to make this design. Yes! It fits the HUS 6x10/ 150 x 240mm hoops! Artista owners will need to use the 400 x 150 mm hoop. The design can not be made in a split/ multi-position hoop, other than the Artista 400x150mm hoop.
Actual design sizes: 1st hooping (tab design): 2.91 by 3.02 inches/ 73.8 by 76.6mm. SC: 550/ 340. 2nd hooping (e-reader case): 5.75 by 9.22 inches/ 146 x 234.2mm. SC: varies by monogram but averages 6500/ 4500.
**Actual inside pocket measurment when case is finished: 8.60 by 5.25 inches.**
The case fits the following e-readers: Nook Color (8.1 x 5.0 by .48 inches), Nook Wi-Fi (7.7 x 4.9 by .50 inches), Nook 3G + WiFi (7.7 x 4.9 by .50 inches), Kindle WiFi (7.5 by 4.8 by .335 inches, Kindle 3G + WiFi (7.5 x 4.8 x .335), Kindle Fire 7" (7.5 x 4.7 x. .45 inches). The case may fit other e-reders not listed, please refer to the actual inside pocket measurement above.
The case does not fit the Kindle DX (10.4 by 4.72 by .38 inches) or the Kindle Fire 8.9" (9.4×6.3×0.35 in). It may also not fit e-readers that have an added protective case. Again, pleasse refer to the actual inside pocket size measurments listed above.
The case includes the monogram applique patch already embedded onto the design for you.

Our designs are manually digitized and test stitched before release. For best results we recommend stitching our designs unaltered on projects hooped with stabilizer appropriate for the material being used. We cannot guarantee results when our designs have been modified in software or non-traditional hooping methods are used. We highly recommend doing a test stitch on an altered design before putting it on a valuable blank.That being said, we are often asked for a recommendation for embroidery editing software for customizing purposes:
