  For the applique parts of these designs, each fabric has only two color stops: a single running stitch placement step, and a bean stitch step that serves as both the tackdown and finishing stitch. We recommend using a fusible product on the applique fabrics and neatly trimming 1/8" outside the bean stitch for a polished look. We love the results when using black embroidery thread for all the bean stitch outlines!
