Thank you so much for your interest in Designs by JuJu. I don't like the "fine print" any more than anyone else, but I do have some simple terms of use to be followed. Thank you so much for your cooperation!

Terms of use: updated 12/1/07

1)These designs that you purchase CAN be stitched on items to be sold as long as they are not mass produced (ie: hiring someone else to sew the designs or the designs being sewn on a production line). As long as the designs are sewn by the individual purchaser, there is no limit to the amount of times you may sew them on items for sale. Designs used on items for sale must be purchased. 

2)Our digitized embroidery designs , either purchased or free designs you downloaded, CANNOT BE SOLD, TRADED, SHARED, GIVEN AWAY or INCLUDED in any design set--(THIS INCLUDES PURCHASING WITH THE INTENT TO COPY AND SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS. :-) Ex. You and your friend or you and your mother sew together and "go in on" designs together. This is SHARING and is NOT permitted and a violation of our terms of use.  We work hard to keep our prices low to make our designs affordable to everyone. You must purchase your own design set.

You may not purchase designs together with a friend or relative under our sale to get a tiered discount price. Again, this is sharing as the designs may only be purchased by ONE purchaser. Due to excessive problems with excessive violations of these policies, we will no longer respond to emails with order issues in which designs were purchased by two parties to share the designs. Most of our customers are aware this is a violation of our TOU policy and we thank you so much for your cooperation. Those who do not adhere to it know who they are.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate repeat downloading abilities to an account holder who is known to be sharing designs.

You may not alter my designs and call them your own or sell the altered designs.

3)You may not share your login to our website with another individual. As a convenience to our customers, we have provided a venue for you to view all previous purchases and re-download your designs should you lose them or experience a computer crash. Please do not share your login or password with anyone. All downloads are tracked and monitored on a regular basis. If we find designs being downloaded to multiple computers of one account holder, downloading abilities will be suspended.

4)Please, if you use my designs on items that you make a profit off of, kindly give me the courtesy of purchasing my design set...and not simply downloading my free designs. All of my design patterns are created by me..many hours have gone into these patterns to bring you unique high quality designs at extremely affordable prices. Please respect my work.

5)By purchasing my designs, you are purchasing a license to use them. Only the actual purchaser of the designs holds this license. The designs and copyrights to them are owned by Designs by JuJu and protected under international copyright laws.

6)Due to the electronic nature of our designs and their ability to be downloaded instantly, y ou may not purchase the designs and give them as a gift. If you want to give designs from Designs by JuJu as a gift, we have gift certificates available in many denominations that never expire and can be applied towards any of the monthly specials that we offer. 

7)If you have a website for your business or sell on ebay, and you offer your customers a choice of what they want stitched on the item you are making, then you are welcome to display my design images. However, please give me credit for my designs by stating "These designs purchased from Designs by JuJu" and kindly link Designs by JuJu to my website, www.designsbyjuju.com. I understand a link is not allowed in ebay auctions. If you have any items you've made with my designs, I would be THRILLED to display them on my projects page and link to your website or ebay store/ID as well! 8)Lastly, my designs are for machine embroidery purposes only. All designs including the graphic images used to create the designs are copyrighted. Graphics may not be used for purposes other than machine embroidery such as scrapbooking, silk screen printing, smocking designs etc. You may not use the artwork /image of one of my designs to create a manual applique design. All artwork for exclusive use to Designs by JuJu is solely for the purposes of our machine embroidery designs.
