How to Machine Applique Tutorial

Notes from Julie:
I like to use a light layer of spray adhesive such as Sulky KK5000 on the back of my fabric piece before laying it down to be stitched. It helps hold the fabric in place while being stitched, and gives a very nice flat finished look upon completion of the design.

All applique designs from Designs by JuJu come with .txt color charts instructing which color change is an applique placement line and which is the tack down line. Our applique designs are all 100% manually digitized. Each step of the applique process is digitized in such a way that your machine will stop after the placement line, after the tack down line etc. Some of our applique designs require more than one fabric placement. It is important that you follow the color charts exactly as they are written to achieve accurate results.
